SUMMARY:Chris Fox 19th November 2022
DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in Cambridgeshire, Chris Fox cut his teeth playing for pints in local drinking establishments along the river Great Ouse in 2014. Fast forward to an award-winning singer songwriter who has played a variety of stages from Dorset to The Western Isles, and from intimate 10-seater venues to a packed out set in the Den at Cambridge Folk Festival 2019. \nMarking rapid progress through the UK folk and roots scene with his songwriting, vocals and mastery of the loop pedal, he won the Lichfield Folk Festival song writing competition in 2019. Genre-defying and hard to pigeonhole, his perceptive lyrics reflect overlooked stories in everyday life. He underpins his lyrics with a variety of musical styles ranging the roots lexicon of folk, blues, country and Americana.  A modern-day troubadour, he’s released three EPs and one studio album to wide acclaim.\nNow performing headline shows in his own right, Chris has also supported some of folk’s finest; Peter Knight’s Gigspanner, Trials of Cato, Brookes Williams, Ange Hardy, Granny’s Attic, Boo Hewerdine, Jim Moray and Sean Lakeman & Katherine Roberts to name a few, and achieved his first international booking to play Costa Del Folk in 2022\n/*! elementor - v3.4.8 - 16-11-2021 */\n.elementor-widget-image{text-align:center}.elementor-widget-image a{display:inline-block}.elementor-widget-image a img[src$=".svg"]{width:48px}.elementor-widget-image img{vertical-align:middle;display:inline-block}\n \n \n \n/*! elementor - v3.4.8 - 16-11-2021 */\n.elementor-heading-title{padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title[class*=elementor-size-]>a{color:inherit;font-size:inherit;line-height:inherit}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-small{font-size:15px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-medium{font-size:19px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-large{font-size:29px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-xl{font-size:39px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-xxl{font-size:59px}\nTicket Prices\n\nEarlybird Adult Tickets £12\nEarlybird Youth (Age 14-17) Tickets £8\nFull Price Adult Tickets £15\nFull Price Youth (Age 14-17) Tickets £10\n\n \n \n Book Online\n \n \n \n Local Cash Bookings\n \n \n \nPlaylist\n 5 Videos\n \n \n \n\n \n Chris Fox performing ‘I Just Don’t Think I’ll Ever Get Over You’ by Colin Hay \n \n 4:13\n \n \n \n\n \n Chris Fox performing ‘Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right’ by Bob Dylan \n \n 3:51\n \n \n \n\n \n I’m in Love with you Performed by Chris Fox at Cambridge Folk Festival in 2019 \n \n 5:06\n \n \n \n\n \n God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen – Chris Fox & the Flying Foxes \n \n 5:13\n \n \n \n\n \n Chris Fox LIVE (ish) July 6th \n \n 31:18\n
