Meet The Team
Meet the Team of Village Concert Volunteers
Charlotte Allum
Lover of live music and mum of two, Charlotte took over the running of Village Concerts when Graham Starkins, who ran the Concerts brilliantly for several years, was looking to move away from the area.
Charlotte now oversees the booking of artists and promotion of the Concerts in Purley on Thames and is passionate about bringing a wide variety of music to the local community for both adults and children to enjoy.
Charlotte is always keen to hear of exciting artists in the local area so please do drop us an email with any suggestions.
Sarah Sinclair
Sarah, mother of two little boys and lover of live music in all its variety, helps with the promotion of our events and organises the ticket table at Village Concerts.
Sarah is passionate about getting young people involved in the live music scene and is a devoted lover of The Beatles, Prince and Stevie Wonder.
With a great eye for detail, Sarah is often thinking up new ways to improve Village Concerts and would love to hear from you if you too have any thoughts or recommendations.
Geoff Williams
Living close by and going to St Mary’s for 37 years, Geoff started helping Graham with ticket sales when Village Concerts moved from Upper Basildon to Purley on Thames in 2016 and continues to help spread the word and sell tickets now.
Geoff is a self-confessed rugby and footie nut, passionate about anything Welsh and Reading FC!
Geoff also loves music and has a wide taste ranging from Pink Floyd to Male Voice Choirs.
Iain Brown
Iain has recently joined the team to help promote live music and look out for potential artists.
A devoted father to his daughter and serial concert-goer with diverse tastes ranging from rock & roll to blues, soul & hard rock to something a little more chilled, Iain is always keen to see talented musicians and singers have the chance to showcase their talents.
Iain is very excited and proud to be part of the Village Concerts team.
Steven & Debbie
Steve Greenslade
Steve does all the technical wizardry behind the scenes at Village Concerts. He is most happy with a XLR cable, fader or keyboard to play with.
He’s also been working on building this website.
